Day 90 Thursday, December 29, 2011

No kids means dinner for 2!!
Look at my handsome date :) I know this is not fair I got him mid bite, love ya babe!

Day 89 Wednesday December 28, 2011

OU Women's basketball VS. TCU

All the Cowboy fans would be proud, Taygan refused to wear any OU apparel!

So cool Makaylie's favorite players in the same pic!

Final score!

Day 88 Tuesday, December 27, 2011

Nothing like a little homemade caramel popcorn!!
This is just one of the many goodies Chey received from his kids at school for Christmas. Thank you so much to the kids & parents who take time out of their busy lives to make all these homemade treats. The holidays are a very busy time for everyone so for them to do this means a lot to us and our tummies :)

Day 87 Monday, December 26, 2011

Every year for I don't know how many years, Chickasha hosts the Festival of Lights. People come from all over just to see it. We had never heard of it let alone been to it until we moved to Amber almost 4 years ago.
This year we decided to walk around the park instead of just driving around & we had so much fun. The girls rode a camel & fed the sheep. It was a simple yet fun family night.
I have to apologize the pictures aren't that great, I guess because I took them with my phone instead of my camera! grrrr!!

Day 86 Sunday, December 25, 2011

Santa was definetly good to us this year. The girls got Ipod touches & were thrilled. That's mostly what they have been talking about for months. It's so much fun to see their faces light up with excitement when they see what's under the tree!

The rest of the day we spent enjoying each other & our many gifts, and cleaning house! I love my sweet little family. My life would be incomplete without them. Thank you God for blessing me over & over again.

I'd also like to say a great big thank you to all my friends whom are near & dear to my heart. I hope & pray you all had the best Christmas ever.

Don't ya love the look on Tay's face! It was 5 am & the flash was just too bright!

Day 85 Saturday, December 24, 2011

Mom & dad opening their George Strait tickets! I'm so glad they were excited about them!

Makaylie all smiles!

Today we celebrated two Christmases. The first with my parents, brother & his girlfriend and then with my mom's side of the family at my papa's house.

I love love having Christmas at my parent's house because it brings back wonderful memories of celebrating when I was a kid. It's so much fun to watch my girls open their gifts & spend quality time with their granmom & grandad. We always laugh & smile a lot, it's really the best time.

Round 2, I equally love having Christmas with all the family. We very rarely see each other throughout the year, so it's an awesome time! Like I said at Thanksgiving I won't post all the pics because there are entirely too many. We are so blessed! Thank you to my mom & aunts & cousins who participated in making the cutest stockings. They have sentimental meaning & that's really what this season is all about!

Day 84 Friday, December 23, 2011

It's Christmas Eve Eve!!
Enjoying some Christmas fun at Momo's house!

Day 83 Thursday, December 22, 2011

Another evening of basketball practice...going up for the rebound

Day 82 Wednesday, December 21, 2011

My new favorite hand sanitizer scent from Bath & Body Works!
Twisted Peppermint, love!
I needed it a lot tonight. Poor Taygan was sick with the stomach bug Makaylie had on Saturday :(

Day 81 Tuesday, December 20, 2011

Silly Graham girls! They were rockin' out to Justin Bieber last night!

Day 80 Monday, December 19, 2011

Oh what a night of lots of talk & even more laughs.
Love this Katy girl, we always have the best time together. We came to Ed's tonight to say good bye to one of the girls who we both use to work with. She is going home to California because her mom is very sick. I hope & pray for the best for her & her family. I know the road is going to be long & hard ahead, but hopefully they can find comfort & strength in each other.

Day 79 Sunday, December 18, 2011

Makaylie's proud of her new skill...braiding!

silly us!!

Day 78 Saturday, December 17, 2011

And her birthday continues...
Taygan & her best friend on her softball team, Taylor, have birthdays 20 days apart so we decided to do a joint party for them. We had it at the Kingfisher indoor pool. It was a blast, especially since they never get to do pool parties with their birthdays being in December. I was so glad that almost all the girls got to come!
We love our Riot family!
She's not afraid of anything, jumping off the high dive!

This is her loot from birthday & Christmas parties! Can you say spoiled rotten??

Day 77 Friday, December 16, 2011

My pretty girl with her pretty flowers.
Yes it's her Christmas present from her boyfriend :) at least he got her favorite color, smart boy!

Day 76 Thursday, December 15, 2011

Basketball practice!
This year Chey is coaching Makaylie's basketball team at the YMCA. There are several girls from our Am-Po team along with a few from Chickasha. Can't wait to see how the girls do when the games start.

Day 75 Wednesday, December 14, 2011

Today at work we celebrated our December birthdays! The food that everyone brought was yummy as usual! I am so blessed to work with an amazing group of ladies!

Day 74 Tuesday, December 13, 2011

We LOVE some lil cuties!!

Day 73, Monday, December 12, 2011

This is the face of asthma.
Taygan has had asthma since she was a year old & boy has it been a journey. No one in my family or Chey's really has it, so we didn't know much about it. Now I think we are experts on it. I so wish we weren't!
She has defintely improved over the years, but every now & then it gets her down. Over the last few months she has done really well. Her last visit to her ashtma/allergy doctor she showed more improvement than she ever has. Unfortunately with the cold weather upon us & all the sickness that's going around, it's inevitable that these things will get her. I took her to her pediatrician today & she has bronchitis, a typically easy thing for asthmatics to get. Hopefully the antibiotic, breathing treatments, & other meds she takes will get her feeling better soon.
Poor baby, she told me this afternoon, momma I take too much medicine :(

Day 72, Sunday, December 11, 2011

It's stocking decorating time!
The girls Christmas parties at school are coming up this Friday, and Taygan has to decorate her stocking. They will each put a small gift in each other's stockings. Taygan loves arts & crafts so this is right up her alley. She went a little crazy with the glitter, we had to take it away from her or it would have been more glitter than stocking.
So cute!

Day 71, Saturday, December 10, 2011

Makaylie had some money she has been saving so when we went to Wal-Mart today she just had to have these press on nails. She also bought some for her best friend Hannah for Christmas. Gotta love girls :)
Awww she doesn't have baby hands anymore, they are big girl hands :'(

Day 70, Friday, December 9, 2011

It's gingerbread house decorating day!!
Every year the 2nd grade class participates in this activity. All the kids in the class bring different candies to decorate the houses with & the school provides the icing & houses. I love this because you can really see the kids artistic sides come out. So glad I got to be here for it today. We had a blast!

Working hard!

Some of Tay's classmates

The finished product! She has a Jolly Rancher in her mouth, that's the reason for the weirdo smile!

Day 69, Thursday, December 8, 2011

This picture describes my evening, since I forgot to take a real picture today.

For all you Am-Po folks out there who might be reading this, we need all the help we can get getting this PTO going. I've never been apart of one, but I think it's a step in the right direction for our school. We discussed some awesome goals tonight, can't wait to see what the future holds!

Day 68, Wednesday, December 7, 2011

This is my project tonight, picture organization! I get this from my mother. Well not the organizing part (just ask my husband), but the picture part. We have tons, literally, of pictures. I'm trying to get some off of my camera & into a more permanent place, so here I go! Wish me luck!

Day 67, Tuesday, December 6, 2011

We have decided to help out our FCCLA program at school with their Christmas tree angel program. As you can see we have a little boy to buy for. I'm sure glad they have specific items, because I wouldn't know what to buy for a boy.
My sincerest hope is that this will teach my children that to always keep in mind there are families that are less fortunate than we are, and that our job is to help them out. We have been blessed many times over & don't know the struggle some parents have especially this time of year. My heart breaks for them, I can't imagine not being able to buy my children gifts for Christmas. I know this little boy will be so happy Christmas morning when he opens his gifts, and to know this makes my Christmas the best ever.

Day 66, Monday, December 5, 2011

And her birthday continues...

Tonight my mom, dad, & brother came to Chickasha to eat dinner with us at Eduardo's to celebrate Taygan's birthday. Taygan picked Ed's because she knows they will come out & sing to her! Can you tell she loves to be the center of attention??
They also are here for Makaylie's Christmas program at school. It's called a pirate Christmas, hence the pirate costume. It was such a cute program, all the kids did awesome. I thought the little girl in the purple pirate costume was the best of all!

Day 65, Sunday, December 4, 2011

We are waiting to do a friend birthday party in a couple weeks, so today was just a lazy day. We did have cake & ice cream of course! Her favorite, white cake with strawberry icing & sprinkles on top.

Taygan also sang tonight in the Christmas program at Amber First Baptist. We are members at Pocasset, but she likes to go to Amber on Wednesday nights & they asked her to sing with them for the program. The kids did great & the adult choir was pretty amazing themselves. Afterwards we stayed and ate with everyone. Very nice way to end her day :)

Day 64, Saturday, December 3, 2011

Christmas came early for the Graham girls today. Momo was here & wanted them to pick out their own bikes for Christmas. Of course when we got home, it didn't matter how cold it was, they had to ride them. They didn't stay on long, the wind was blowing so hard their little faces couldn't take it.

We also finally got our tree up today. This is a new tree for us. We had had the same tree since mine & Chey's first Christmas together 16 years ago! Wow, I know! I had been wanting a new one for awhile, but that one held sentimental value & part of me didn't want to let it go. But, I figure now this one can make some great memories with us too. Even though, it's kind of old looking we still put our angel tree topper on. It's been with us the whole 16, some things you just can't part with.
