Awwww we love new babies!! Meet Mason Mays! He is 2 weeks old today & we got to meet him for the first time! He is little brother to Jackson & his mom & dad are Brooke & Jake, very good friends of ours. Loved getting to hold him & just hang out for a few hours! Congrats Mays family on your newest addition.

Oops can't leave ol Winston out!!

Day #181 Sunday, November 28, 2010

.Its time to put up the Christmas tree! They are working hard!

And the almost finished tree!

Day #180 Saturday, November 27, 2010

Today was our day to celebrate Thanksgiving with my side of the family. We have a pretty big family & when we all are able to be there, there is over 40 of us. Most everyone was there, which always makes it so nice. Even though none of us live more than 4 or 5 hours from each other with everyones busy lives we just don't see each other very much. We ended up making it a full day & evening. We started out with Thanksgiving lunch then games & stuff all afternoon. Thank God for the beautiful weather! Then as it was getting close to dark we loaded up the trailer for a hayride. After lots of laughs & freezing our rears off we had a weinie roast back at my papa's house. What a wonderful day! Love my family!

Day #179 Friday, November 26, 2010

.Me & my bestie Black Friday shopping!! I think we look pretty good for 3:00 am in aisle #4 at Walmart!

We absolutely loved spending some time with our friends Jason & Tina Pigg & their new baby girl Preslie! She is so adorable & such a good baby. The girls had fun playing with her & meeting her for the first time!

Day #178 Thursday, November 25, 2010

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! We are on our way to spend the day with Chey's side of the family! Don't the girls look excited to feed their faces?? lol

Day #177 Wednesday, November 24, 2010

We've just about got all our bags packed for the long Thanksgiving weekend! Tomorrow we will head to Chey's mom's house, then Friday I will do some Black Friday shopping with my best friend, Sara. On Saturday is when we spend Thanksgiving with my side of the family.

So thankful for all the wonderful family & friends we have.

Day #176 Tuesday November 23, 2010

When Taygan got baptized a couple of months ago, my mom & dad got her an activity book on learning what it means to be a Christian. She loves reading & writing in it. We unfortunately don't do it every day like we should, but I'm just so proud that she has the desire to do it. We usually try to do it at night before she goes to bed and I usually try to get Makaylie involved too. Even though she has not been baptized I know she understands what being a Christian means.

Day #175 Monday, November 22, 2010

Its basketball practice again!

Day #174 Sunday, November 21, 2010

It has been shopping spree day for us!! Both the girls needed a few new clothes & shoes. Luckily because of the Chickasaw Nation we receive $200 a piece for both girls each school year for clothes & shoes. We have to apply each year & keep up with all the receipts but its definitely worth the little trouble it is. What amazes me is how fast the money goes. The girls clothes just keep getting more & more expensive & they aren't even teenagers yet!

Day #173 Saturday, November 20, 2010

Me & 2 of my very good friends, Lindsay & Dorothy ran in the Frost Ya Fanny 5k today. The run was at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton. It was the first race I've done in the evening and so far the best time I've had. I was so happy because I ran then entire thing without walking. For a girl that has never been able to run, it feels like an accomplishment. It was a perfect night to run and the Christmas lights & decorations they had out were very nice.
Thank you to Lindsay & Dorothy for running with me!

Day #172 Friday, November 19, 2010

Makaylie is in special choir this year at school. They meet every Tuesday & Thursday before school to practice. She has a very pretty voice (don't know where she got it??) and she loves to sing. Tonight the special choir sang the national anthem at our first high school basketball game. They all did great & sounded fabulous! Big thanks to Mrs. Jackson for taking the time to teach these kids the wonderful world of music!

Day #171 Thursday, November 18, 2010

sorry no pic of the day :(

Day #170 Wednesday, November 17, 2010

My sweet husband bought me this pink ribbon bracelet today. Whats best about it is that he did it for no reason other than he knew I would like it. I know it is just a small thing but those a the things that mean the most :)

Day #169 Tuesday, November 16, 2010

Makaylie had an orthodontist appointment today & we've started making it tradition to get ice cream afterwards. There is a Braum's about a block from their office so it works out perfectly. Her very favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip. She was very happy to have it because last time we went they were out & she had to get a different flavor.

Day #168 Monday, November 15, 2010

awwww isn't she too cute with her 1/2 snaggletooth?? She actually lost her tooth last night but we were too caught up in the moment to take a pic. Her other front tooth is pretty loose too, so she really will have reason to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth."

Whats so funny about this is that when she was younger & Makaylie was losing her front teeth she would sing, "All I want for Cwismas is my two front feet." Love those memories!!

Day #167 Sunday, November 14, 2010

Today we went to Norman to help celebrate our friend's son's, Jackson, second birthday. The kids all had fun playing on the plasma cars, scooters, and other toys they had there. Jackson will be getting an extra special late birthday present tomorrow because his baby brother is set to arrive!

Day #166 Saturday, November 13, 2010

Tonight we went to watch the OSU/TX game at our friends house, Barbara & Keith Mosier. Jenny & Cacie some more good friends of ours were there as well! We all had a great time & some darn good laughs!! The girls had a ton of fun playing the wii with Jessie & Karlee too! Silly girls!

Day #165 Friday, November 12, 2010

Love this girl!!! We had a great girl's night out tonight!!

Day #164 Thursday, November 11, 2010

Taygan's first basketball practice for winter 2010-2011
I'm sure Clay is giving them all kinds of great words of wisdom lol

Day #163 Wednesday, November 10, 2010

One of the girl's favorite things in. the. world. BOMB. POPS!!!

Day #162 Tuesday, November 9, 2010

Tonight our 4-6th graders performed in our school's Veteran's Day program. I love this program probably the most of all the ones they do. The kids sang some amazing songs & they all did wonderfully. Its very hard for me not to get a little teary eyed because it always reminds me what a great sacrifice our military makes for us everyday. Thank you to those who have served & are currently serving from the bottom of my heart. May we never forget or take for granted how important our freedom is because of your sacrifice.

Day #161 Monday, November 8, 2010

Just one of my favorite places to go!!
Oh and if you are reading this & live in the Chickasha area if you sign up & give them my name I'll get a free month!!

Day #160 Sunday, November 7, 2010

To celebrate the end of the fall softball season Taygan's softball team had a skate party. I thought Taygan had skated before, but apparently she hadn't because she had a pretty rough time at it. She is so determined though she wouldn't give up. She fell I don't know how many times & just kept going. I finally got out there with her & somehow managed to only fall once. When I did I accidently knocked her down lol!! Nope not getting mom of the year! We all had a great time and it was great to see her teammates again.

Day #158 Friday, November 5, 2010

Its girls night!! I love just having a night at home watching TV, playing games & just hanging with my girls. Tonight we are watching one of our most favorite shows, What Not to Wear, on TLC.

Day #157 Thursday, November 4, 2010

Its day 4 post Halloween activities & look at all the candy we still have. Yes I have tried to do my part in getting rid of it, but really I think its time to give it up. At what point do you say enough is enough & just throw it all away??

Day #156 Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Makaylie is proud of her new Am-Po hoodie!! Too cute!

Day #155 Tuesday, November 2, 2010

So thankful that we live in a country where we have the wonderful freedom to vote.

Day #154 Monday, November 1, 2010

Yep I think I might hold the world record for pairs of sunglasses owned. I never spend more than probably $12 for them so its not a huge loss when I lose them or break them. I really can't live without them either. I feel incomplete without them on my face. Ok I know thats really lame, but oh well (:

Day #153 Sunday, October 31, 2010

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Last & final day for this year for Halloween fun. Our church in Pocasset had their annual Family Fall Festival. The girls had a great time as usual and got even more candy. I'm pretty sure we didn't need it, but they were happy and thats all that matters!
