This is just one of the many goodies Chey received from his kids at school for Christmas. Thank you so much to the kids & parents who take time out of their busy lives to make all these homemade treats. The holidays are a very busy time for everyone so for them to do this means a lot to us and our tummies :)

Day 87 Monday, December 26, 2011

Every year for I don't know how many years, Chickasha hosts the Festival of Lights. People come from all over just to see it. We had never heard of it let alone been to it until we moved to Amber almost 4 years ago.
This year we decided to walk around the park instead of just driving around & we had so much fun. The girls rode a camel & fed the sheep. It was a simple yet fun family night.
I have to apologize the pictures aren't that great, I guess because I took them with my phone instead of my camera! grrrr!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!

Santa was definetly good to us this year. The girls got Ipod touches & were thrilled. That's mostly what they have been talking about for months. It's so much fun to see their faces light up with excitement when they see what's under the tree!

The rest of the day we spent enjoying each other & our many gifts, and cleaning house! I love my sweet little family. My life would be incomplete without them. Thank you God for blessing me over & over again.

I'd also like to say a great big thank you to all my friends whom are near & dear to my heart. I hope & pray you all had the best Christmas ever.

Today we celebrated two Christmases. The first with my parents, brother & his girlfriend and then with my mom's side of the family at my papa's house.

I love love having Christmas at my parent's house because it brings back wonderful memories of celebrating when I was a kid. It's so much fun to watch my girls open their gifts & spend quality time with their granmom & grandad. We always laugh & smile a lot, it's really the best time.

Round 2, I equally love having Christmas with all the family. We very rarely see each other throughout the year, so it's an awesome time! Like I said at Thanksgiving I won't post all the pics because there are entirely too many. We are so blessed! Thank you to my mom & aunts & cousins who participated in making the cutest stockings. They have sentimental meaning & that's really what this season is all about!
