It's a lazy night at the Graham house. DS time for everybody! Taygan's asthma is really bothering her, so her & I had a pretty sleepless night last night. Perfect reason for doing nothing!

Happy #10 to our sweet Makaylie! I can't believe she is in double digits. On one hand it seems like just yesterday she was born, but on the other hand it seems like forever ago. I remember just before she was born thinking oh my gosh, what have I got myself into, I can't be a mom I have no idea what to do. But she was such an easy baby, laid back and went with the flow, whatever was going on. From day one she has brought such joy to our lives. I am so proud of the young lady she has become. I can't wait to see what the future brings for her!

It's another basketball Saturday!
Taygan did so good, she scored 22 points WOOHOOOO!
Sorry didn't get any pics of Makaylie's game. She did score the first 2 points of the game! They won as well, great job girls!

It's party time!! Makaylie decided for her birthday (which is Sunday) she wanted all her friends over for a slumber party. There are 10 girls in her class & so of course we had to invite all of them. 6 out of 10 were able to attend. Just so little sister didn't feel left out & drive them crazy all night we let her have a couple of friends over too. That meant a total of 10 girls in this little house, can you say CRAZY!! The little girls crashed about 10:00 or 11:00, but the big girls stayed up til 2:30 am! I finally had to get mean & tell them to go to sleep.
All in all I think they all had a great time. I know Makaylie did, I believe her exact words were "This was the best birthday ever!"

Yes, its that time again! Taygan's pitching machine team has started taking batting practice on Sunday afternoons. Can't wait to see them playing this spring!

Whew! What a busy day.
1st activity Taygan's basketball game! Good job little Panthers!
2nd activity-Watching my brother coach his basketball in their regional tourney at Friend. They didn't do well, but they are a young team. It was fun getting to watch my brother in that atmosphere. I think his kids can really relate to him, mainly because he's just one of them :D
3rd activity-Birthday swim party. One of the little boys in Taygan's class had his birthday party at the Holiday Inn's indoor pool. Since she is part fish, we just had to go!

Tonight we went to Velma-Alma high school to watch our boys play in the district tournament. They did a fantastic job & beat Fox. Not a high scoring game, but a win is a win! They will play again tomorrow night! Good luck Panthers!

For once the girls were up & ready to head to school today. Of course, not for the love of learning, but for their Valentine parties. They both had a great time. I'm so glad they didn't bring home a ton of candy, I have no will power for that stuff!

It's Super Bowl Sunday!! We went to our friends new house to watch the game. Of course the girls could have cared less about the game, so what did they do?? What they always love to do at Sammie & Kevin's house, play the Wii. They love all the games they have, because they are so way cooler than the ones we have!

Much to my children's delight, we finally let them play outside in the snow today. It was still super cold, but we split our time up into two sessions. My favorite part was sliding head first down the snow drift beside the fence in the backyard! Yes, I'm still just a big kid. We tried to build a snowman, but our snow just wouldn't cooperate. Instead we had snowball fights, made snow angels, & pushed each other down into the huge snow piles.

Well so far old man winter hasn't bothered us too much, but that all changed starting last night. Guess the forecaster were right on, its quite a winter storm that has hit Oklahoma. The girls have been begging all day to go play in the snow, but with 40 mph winds & negative wind chills, we just didn't think it was a good idea. We've all had a nice lazy day eating, playing games, & watching t.v.

This is our Lola, and you might be wondering why she has yellow feathers on her head. Well, when my mom heard that we named her Lola she started singing this Barry Manilow song that goes, "Lola, she was a showgirl she wore yellow feather in her hair..." So thats our little song for her. We had her out playing with her today & were singing it & remembered we had this yellow feather thing and decided we needed to take a picture with it in her hair. We all had a good laugh about it!!!
