Day #180 Saturday, November 27, 2010
Today was our day to celebrate Thanksgiving with my side of the family. We have a pretty big family & when we all are able to be there, there is over 40 of us. Most everyone was there, which always makes it so nice. Even though none of us live more than 4 or 5 hours from each other with everyones busy lives we just don't see each other very much. We ended up making it a full day & evening. We started out with Thanksgiving lunch then games & stuff all afternoon. Thank God for the beautiful weather! Then as it was getting close to dark we loaded up the trailer for a hayride. After lots of laughs & freezing our rears off we had a weinie roast back at my papa's house. What a wonderful day! Love my family!

Day #177 Wednesday, November 24, 2010
We've just about got all our bags packed for the long Thanksgiving weekend! Tomorrow we will head to Chey's mom's house, then Friday I will do some Black Friday shopping with my best friend, Sara. On Saturday is when we spend Thanksgiving with my side of the family.
So thankful for all the wonderful family & friends we have.
Day #176 Tuesday November 23, 2010
When Taygan got baptized a couple of months ago, my mom & dad got her an activity book on learning what it means to be a Christian. She loves reading & writing in it. We unfortunately don't do it every day like we should, but I'm just so proud that she has the desire to do it. We usually try to do it at night before she goes to bed and I usually try to get Makaylie involved too. Even though she has not been baptized I know she understands what being a Christian means.
Day #174 Sunday, November 21, 2010
It has been shopping spree day for us!! Both the girls needed a few new clothes & shoes. Luckily because of the Chickasaw Nation we receive $200 a piece for both girls each school year for clothes & shoes. We have to apply each year & keep up with all the receipts but its definitely worth the little trouble it is. What amazes me is how fast the money goes. The girls clothes just keep getting more & more expensive & they aren't even teenagers yet!
Day #173 Saturday, November 20, 2010
Me & 2 of my very good friends, Lindsay & Dorothy ran in the Frost Ya Fanny 5k today. The run was at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton. It was the first race I've done in the evening and so far the best time I've had. I was so happy because I ran then entire thing without walking. For a girl that has never been able to run, it feels like an accomplishment. It was a perfect night to run and the Christmas lights & decorations they had out were very nice.
Thank you to Lindsay & Dorothy for running with me!

Day #172 Friday, November 19, 2010
Makaylie is in special choir this year at school. They meet every Tuesday & Thursday before school to practice. She has a very pretty voice (don't know where she got it??) and she loves to sing. Tonight the special choir sang the national anthem at our first high school basketball game. They all did great & sounded fabulous! Big thanks to Mrs. Jackson for taking the time to teach these kids the wonderful world of music!
Day #170 Wednesday, November 17, 2010
Day #169 Tuesday, November 16, 2010
Makaylie had an orthodontist appointment today & we've started making it tradition to get ice cream afterwards. There is a Braum's about a block from their office so it works out perfectly. Her very favorite flavor is mint chocolate chip. She was very happy to have it because last time we went they were out & she had to get a different flavor.
Day #168 Monday, November 15, 2010
awwww isn't she too cute with her 1/2 snaggletooth?? She actually lost her tooth last night but we were too caught up in the moment to take a pic. Her other front tooth is pretty loose too, so she really will have reason to sing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth."
Whats so funny about this is that when she was younger & Makaylie was losing her front teeth she would sing, "All I want for Cwismas is my two front feet." Love those memories!!

Day #162 Tuesday, November 9, 2010
Tonight our 4-6th graders performed in our school's Veteran's Day program. I love this program probably the most of all the ones they do. The kids sang some amazing songs & they all did wonderfully. Its very hard for me not to get a little teary eyed because it always reminds me what a great sacrifice our military makes for us everyday. Thank you to those who have served & are currently serving from the bottom of my heart. May we never forget or take for granted how important our freedom is because of your sacrifice.

Day #160 Sunday, November 7, 2010
To celebrate the end of the fall softball season Taygan's softball team had a skate party. I thought Taygan had skated before, but apparently she hadn't because she had a pretty rough time at it. She is so determined though she wouldn't give up. She fell I don't know how many times & just kept going. I finally got out there with her & somehow managed to only fall once. When I did I accidently knocked her down lol!! Nope not getting mom of the year! We all had a great time and it was great to see her teammates again.

These are a couple of pics my friend took with her phone at the softball tourney Chey played in this weekend. Her husband plays also, so her, her son, another friend, & Makaylie went to the little park next to the fields. Makaylie apparently felt the need to swing in the baby swings. What was so funny is her little hiney fit in it. Her & Kolbe had a great time. Thanks Stephanie & Melissa for taking them.
Also since she sent the pics to my phone I was trying to figure out a way to get them on here, so this method seemed to work just fine. Technology is wayyyy cool! If you click on the click here part above you can see the other pic that she sent me.

Yep I think I might hold the world record for pairs of sunglasses owned. I never spend more than probably $12 for them so its not a huge loss when I lose them or break them. I really can't live without them either. I feel incomplete without them on my face. Ok I know thats really lame, but oh well (:
